The Room was extremely out dated, having read other reviews the management state the hotel was built in the 70s and we should not expect it to be brand new, I do not buy this as an excuse, more investment is needed to bring the decor up to date, it really is like spending a night in an elderly care home.

Only problem with breakfast is the Juice glasses are too small, it is literraly the size of a shot glass. The Breakfast is buffet style with a good choice of hot and cold food, hot coffee was supplied to our table promptly. First impressions were good, the staff at check in were very polite and explained everything to us in English perfectly. we were pleased that no one has tried to change the interior from its 70s original so far, it adds a lot of character and gives the whole place a very relaxed and unpretentious feel. The hotel has lockable storage facilities for bikes and a ski room. Parking is available either in the hotels car park or the underground garage. the location is great for cyclists as well. It is very easy to access the walks up to the Wurmberg and the Wurmberg cable car from the hotel. the hotel, rooms, all restaurants and pool are very clean. The breakfast and half board buffet are good, apart from the coffee which is put on the tables in the mornings in thermos cans. reception hands out 'there is a dog in this room' door hangers to put on the bedroom door, no staff will enter your room whilst the hanger is on the door. Upon arrival theres a food bowl, a dog blanket and a bag of dog treats in the room. Rooms are clean and the hotels dog policy works well, dogs are allowed in the lobby and the English pub. Misbehaving is still around -((((((((((( More Show lessĪpart from having to walk through a crowd of smokers by the front door when you arrive the atmosphere is very pleasant, a very retro 70s property that has not been altered or updated, all original features, from the door keys to the bathroom tiles as well as the interior of the function rooms, bar and bar entertainment (Mr Achim Grossman was playing anything 70s-80s). In fact we will never come back or recommend the hotel to family and friends if this Mr. We have to eat again tomorrow in the same restaurant but we will do everything to avoid the elderly angry misbehaving servant and we feel so sorry for the young wellbehaving and gentle waiters. In fact he spoiled our experience of dining in the restaurant. Afterwards our waitress asked ud if everythihing was allright (she off course meant food, wine etc) and I said, that we were very much irritated and distracted by the bad behavioutr of the old male waiter. Everything was brilliant until an elderly man (staff) started cleaning tables in a very noicefull and distracting way and the (during the last 30 minutes we were in the restaurant) he very loud corrected our waitress. This night we had our dinner in the restaurant expecting good food, good wine, and time and room to enjoy this and the company off my eachother. Until this evening we have been taken really good care of by the staff in reception, bar and restaurant. We have been on a short vacation at this hotel.
